This year, we will be having a Pre-Race Party on the Thursday before the Saturday Grand Prix events! West Dallas Brewers, Four Corners Brewing Company will throw open its doors to welcome Race Fans to a night featuring antique cars, race cars, collectibles, motorcycles, scooters, and a race-themed party. Food, beverages, and bands will insure that the night will start the Rotary Race Weekend in proper style!

This year marks the 20th year for Preston Center Rotary Club’s Grand Prix-a-Kart race benefiting Voice of Hope Ministries!
The idea for the race was conceived by Preston Center Rotary Club members Bob Ikel (aka Ikelbahn) and Fred Seipp (aka Fast Fred) in 1992. Ikelbahn was a friend of a Dallas kart track operator and Fast Fred had been a driver in Porsche Club Racing, in addition to being director of the Grand Prix of Dallas professional car race. Their discussions led to a Eureka! moment and the Preston Center Rotary Grand Prix was born.
The Rotary Grand Prix runs outdoors on a fun and exciting slick track, with speeds of up to 30mph.
Le Mans Enduro Racing
Your team has five drivers who race three full teams on the track at the same time. This is not a relay race! Computer tracking used for accurate time records. Each kart is individually timed, and the five times are combined. To win, leadership, communication, coordination, and time management are a must! Driving skills and teamwork will win the race! Can you do it?
Race of Champions
The TEN best times recorded over the course of the Le Mans racing will qualify for the final RACE OF CHAMPIONS. The winner of the RACE OF CHAMPIONS will have the glory of being the fastest kart driver of the day.
